Pet Urnaments Make New York City Debut in Next Edition of Pets In The City Guide on June 29th

Glen Rock, New Jersey (PRWEB) June 26, 2012

Pet Urnaments will be featured in their first ever New York City advertisement on June 29th in Pets In The City. The 12-page special feature insert that focuses on “all things pets” is published by Mediaplanet and will be distributed inside amNew York.

amNew York is a complimentary daily newspaper distributed at subway stations throughout New York City. With over 850,000 readers, its “reach” is vast.

Michael Martino, President of Urnaments LLC sees the ad as being more than just a conventional vehicle for increasing sales. “Urn and pet urn ads do not usually get the opportunity to showcase their wares in such publications. Of course, as I like to say, We are not an urn, we are an Urnament.”

“This is about market research,” continues Mr. Martino, “and I’ve no doubt New Yorkers will not be shy about weighing in on my little creations: telling us the good, the bad and the ugly.”

The concept of merging two products that evoke opposing and divergent emotions in people – keepsake urns that look like holiday ornaments – has never been tried before Urnaments and Pet Urnaments. So far, opinions have been varied but by far positive from the national survey of test giveaways Urnaments LLC has conducted over the past two months.

It might be a dirty word in one context, but for Urnaments LLC market research is a kinder, gentler form of profiling. Will younger people embrace Urnaments more than older people? Are they more appealing to the urban dweller or suburbanite? Will those states where cremations already exceed burials be more receptive given they are already accommodating a market desiring more expressive alternatives to how they commemorate their departed loved ones?

Will the grandmother in Overland, Kansas appreciate memorializing her three departed cats in such a fashion? From their continuing addition of accounts (increasingly more pet crematories, online urn / pet urn stores and pet supply shops are adding Urnaments and Pet Urnaments to their product line) it appears America is ready.

Is the Big Apple ready?

“We shall see,” smiles the ever optimistic Mr. Martino.

Urnaments LLC was founded by Michael C. Martino in 2010. All engineering / prototyping / designing of the Urnament was completed in November, 2011. Urnaments were designed for the growing market of people seeking to commemorate their departed loved ones and pets in a more heart warming and expressive way. By matching their decorative appeal with an eyelet at the top, Urnaments can displayed on a Christmas tree or anywhere else in the home.
